1.Where's English spoken as an official language?
It's spoken as an official language in India, United States, UK, Ireland, some states of Oceania, South-America, Africa and of the Caribbean Sea.

2.What currency would you use if you were living in London?
I would use the pounds.

3.Can you name THREE traditional British dishes?
Fish and chips, bakon Roly-Poly or roast beef are traditional British dishes.

4.Can you name TWO important British traditions and festivals?
Halloween and Easter are two British festivals.

The UK is made up of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Wales, Scotland and England, together form GB. Therefore Great Britain andNorthern Ireland form UK. England is a country in the UK. The British Isles are occupied by two nations: UK and Ireland.

The name of the queen is Elizabeth the second. She has three sons and a daughter. She also has three grandsons and three granddaughters. Her husband is dead. Her grandson William, will be the next king of Britan. She is the queen of United Kingdom and the Customhead of other places.

the UK, the British Isles and Great Britian

FACTS:
The land area of 244,100 square Kilometers  of nearly 99% and the remainder inlad water. From north to south it is about 1,000 kilometers long.
The capital city is London.

Population of 2011 is 62,476,000 millions.
 
Rivers: the UK rivers are not very long. The Severn, its longest river. is just 338 km in length.  Beginning in Wales and entering the Atlantic Ocean near Bristol in England.
Other major rivers include the Thames, which flows through Oxford and London.  Trent and Mersey rivers, which drain rainfall from large areas of central England.(xènia)

National day: In he UK there isn't a national day. But the people celebrate the birthday of  the queen of England on 21 of April.

What is English?
English is a West Germanic language. Other West Germanic languages are:
